Fun Crab Eat

Kellen's work had a crab eat with tons of fun activities for the kids. Some of the excitement was face painting and an all you can eat crab buffet. They even had an ice cream truck on site to help cool everyone down. Sorry there are no pictures of Kellen eating his weight in crab.

Yummy, ice cream!

The End Result

Break the Bank

Avez was too adventurous the other day. She and Bubba went up to their room. All of a sudden I heard a BANG!!! Then crying. I raced up the stairs to discover the dresser laying down. Thinking Avez might be under it, I lifted it up and found her hiding under the bed and Bubba hiding in the closet. The only injury was a scratch on her leg where the dresser grazed her.

The biggest tragedy was the piggy bank. She literally broke the bank. She was so sad because every penny and coin she can find gets rushed up and into the bank. I later discovered that was the reason for the climb. She was after the bank. Now the change gets put in Mommy & Daddy's jar!

Bless The Mess

No matter how much I clean and pick up, the house always looks like a tornado touched down minutes after. It can get downright discouraging and inspire sitting and eating bonbons rather than clean. But due to the lack of bonbons the cleaning will continue.

Front Step Garden

Living in a townhome has its drawbacks when trying to grow your own garden. Not enough space to plant and trying to find the sunshine for the plants can be difficult. The hardest part are the restrictions the homeowners association places on us. So any and all non-decorative plants must be in planters.

Are front steps now look like a jungle. We have tomatoes, peppers and squash growing. I just saw the little squash buds and got so excited. Out tomatoes are growing out of control. Which is ironic considering my "love" of tomatoes.

Avez loves helping to water. More water ends up on her than the plants. Funny how that goes.

Bad Momma

Told you I was bad at journal writing. The most I normally do is jotting a note on the calendar of what happened that day if it was something monumental.

It's taken me 2 years to come back and add anything to this blog. But with all of our family thousands of miles away my new resolve is to update everyone as faithfully as possible. (at least once a week)

Ava has been joined by Bubba and Aley. She is a great big sister. Kellen is done with school and out in the work force. I am at home trying to keep everyone happy.
